Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) introduced a new feature in Annual Corporate Income Tax Return (CITR), namely Standardization of Financial Report Information (“Standardisasi Informasi Laporan Keuangan” or SILK) with XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) format.
"CITR SILK is an online CITR application for DGT as it is now with XBRL-based SILK feature addition," wrote DGT's presentation material.
This application has three main feature components, namely financial report (FR), fiscal correction (FC), and detailed profit/loss of taxpayers (DPL). Taxpayers can select one of three components based on their entry point or sectoral group.
CITR SILK feature can be used by a variety of industries, including general industry, manufacturing, trade, services, conventional banking, Islamic banking, insurance, security, pension funds, infrastructure, and real estate.
DGT conveyed the CITR SILK feature as an additional service in submitting audited annual returns. It is expected to make submitting standardized tax returns easier for taxpayers.
