SURABAYA - Taxpayers will not be able to access taxation public services this weekend. The two-day service downtime is intended for routine maintenance of the Technology, Information and Communication (TIC) infrastructure of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT).

"In connection with improving services to taxpayers and the capability of Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) information system, we inform you that DGT's public services are temporarily inaccessible on Saturday 21 January 2023 from 08.00 WIB to Sunday 22 January 2023 at 23.59 WIB." write the DGT announcement.

DGT Counseling, Service and Public Relations Director Neilmaldrin Noor said that there has not been a significant change in the tax service scheme provided by DGT to taxpayers electronically.

"This is pure to ensure that electronic services can run well in providing registration services to the public," he explained.

The selection of weekends as the repair time will not have a major impact on the service process for taxpayers.

This is because most DGT service users usually use the service during working hours and days. Therefore, weekends were chosen to carry out DGT's ICT system maintenance.
